Free AI check

Enter your website. See straight away whether AI services such as ChatGPT and Google can read your site properly.

How the check works

I fetch this site's public homepage. If the site refuses automated analysis, I fetch nothing after robots.txt and do not generate an explanation. If the site refuses AI use, no text goes to the AI service. Otherwise the text goes to Cloudflare Workers AI once for the explanation. Cloudflare processes the text to generate the answer and does not use the content to train models without explicit consent. I keep the report for 30 days, plus up to 30 days in backups. To prevent misuse, my database stores your IP address only as a code made with a secret key: for up to 30 days, plus up to 30 days in backups. Cloudflare sees your IP address for hosting and security. Cloudflare's own retention periods apply to its technical logs; these are separate from the retention periods for my database. You may object to this use.

One new website per internet connection every 30 days; a site that has already been checked does not count. An unsuccessful check does not count either. Another site? Send me a message. The report is automatic, without manual review.

By clicking "Check for free", you agree to the check terms. Read more in the privacy notice.

Having trouble? Email me at info@peakpromotion.nl or send me a WhatsApp message.

How it works

  1. Enter your website and click "Check for free".
  2. I fetch your homepage and check whether AI services such as ChatGPT and Google can read it properly: whether your site loads securely, whether AI search bots are welcome, whether your text is directly in the page, and whether your business and contact details are easy to find.
  3. You get a score based on seven core technical checks and an explanation of the main improvements. Information-only items do not count. You can then request a no-obligation conversation about your website.

Recognising AI-generated text. Text made with AI is labelled "Explanation generated with AI". In the code, that section has data-ai-generated="true", and in the check's JSON "ai_generated": true. Peak Promotion (Joppe Alting Siberg) provides the AI features on this site. The model is GLM 5.3 Flash, through Cloudflare Workers AI.

Has your site been checked?

Someone has run my free AI check on your site. This is how the bot works:

  • It is called PeakPromotionCheck/1.0.
  • It only fetches robots.txt, /.well-known/tdmrep.json, your homepage, the status of your sitemap and /llms.txt. It follows at most 3 redirects and no links. If a redirect leads to a different domain, it stops there.
  • If it cannot connect over https, it tries robots.txt and your homepage once each over http.
  • If robots.txt blocks it, or * without a specific rule for PeakPromotionCheck , if robots.txt returns a server error or "too many requests" (429), does not respond in time or cannot be reached, it fetches nothing else. If robots.txt only blocks a path, it skips that request; that check is marked "not measured".
  • With Content-Signal: ai-input=no, tdm-reservation: 1 (TDMRep) or noai it sends no text to an AI service. If robots.txt blocks your /.well-known/tdmrep.json, it does not fetch that file and cannot see any reservation in it.
  • Otherwise your homepage text goes to Cloudflare Workers AI once for a short explanation. I remove email addresses, phone numbers and bank account numbers beforehand. Cloudflare processes the text to generate the answer and does not use the content to train models without explicit consent. I do not keep the text itself.
  • I only keep the check results and explanation: 30 days, plus up to 30 days in automatic backups. Only people who enter your site themselves in the check on this website (on the homepage or on /ai-check) see the report. Within 30 days, everyone who does so receives the same stored report. There is no public link and I do not publish reports.

Purpose: to give the requester a report. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Recipients: Cloudflare (hosting and database) and Cloudflare Workers AI (the AI service).

If someone enters your site in my contact form, the same bot also looks at your homepage to prepare that conversation. That briefing remains in my mailbox (Gmail) for up to 1 year. An objection also adds your domain to the blocklist for this purpose.

Objecting. Do you want me to stop checking your site, or have a report removed? Send me a message. I remove the report and add your domain to a blocklist for as long as your objection applies. I aim to reply within 2 working days and handle it within 1 month at the latest.
